The Linear Brand, which manufacturers garage door and gate openers along with entry systems, is now part of the Nice family of brands. If you are currently using the Linear app, you will need to transition over to the Nice G.O. app. The Linear app is being discontinued on August 31, 2024.

What Should I Expect in the Transition?

  • The Nice G.O. app will completely replace the current Linear app.
  • Your current Linear app credentials (email and password) will work automatically with the Nice G.O. app.

What is the Nice G.O. App Compatible With?

The Nice G.O. app is compatible with compatible garage door and gate openers from the Nice, Mighty Mule, Entrematic and Nice/Linear brands.

What Integrations Work with the Nice G.O. App?

Google Home, Alarm.com, and Nice Home Management will integrate with the new Nice G.O. app. Amazon Alexa no longer works.

What Features are not Supported in the New App?

Geofencing, Amazon Alexa, places, and the ability to adjust light brightness with the app are no longer supported.

What’s Included in the Migration Update?

Improved device pairing, new cloud infrastructure, and a redefined user interface are included with the new app.

Note: Old credentials can be used when switching over. If you've forgotten your password or want to create a new account, please reset your password in Entrematic/Linear apps.

What If I Have an Entrematic Garage Door Opener?

The same applies to you. Entrematic garage door openers were manufactured by Linear. You will need to transition over to the new, Nice G.O. app.
